Green Island PIP count Feb 2013
Totals of 2,010 and 2,031 (concurrent independent counts) were recorded for PIPs returning to Green Island from 4.00 to 6.45PM on 16 February. Many thanks again to Gerry and Carolyn.
Unfortunately no January counts were done at Green Island this year.
Green Island PIP count Dec 2012
On 8 December Gerry and Carolyn made two independent counts of PIPs returning to Green Island from 3.15pm until dark. They recorded 6,619 and 6,624 PIPs respectively.
Many thanks to Gerry and Carolyn for keeping the counts going after the recent departure of Ranger Aaron.

Green Island PIP counts Oct 2012
Aaron, Gerry and Carolyn recently completed their fifth PIP count of the season for Green Island.
On 9 October 7,136 PIPs were counted in the evening flight.
On 27 October two independent counts were of 6,370 and 6,416 PIPs. The slight dip in numbers was considered too small to be of significance.
August PIP counts at Green Island

Possibly there was an earlier count done at Green Island this month? Hopefully those involved might send news soon.
